Alexa Bliss returns in the women’s Royal Rumble!!! Dave Meltzer what’s next for Ms. Bliss after tonight?

 

Just yesterday, we heard that WWE and Alexa Bliss were far apart on contract talks. This morning, a different outlet — PWInsider — had a similar report that also said Bliss was not in Indianapolis today for Royal Rumble. But then, during the pre-show, Insider heard the 5-time WWE Women’s champ was backstage at Lucas Oil Stadium.

And now, for the first time since early 2023, Alexa Bliss is back in WWE.

She entered the Women’s Royal Rumble 21st, coming into her familiar entrance theme, carrying Lily and rocking a dark pixie look that would seem to indicate she will mix it up with The Wyatt Sicks sooner rather than later.

The announce trio of Michael Cole, Pat McAfee & Wade Barrett had plenty of fun with the fact Bliss & WWE appear to have at least worked the sheets, and probably one in particular (a bag the company never gets tired of punching in Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer).She didn’t get any eliminations, but did make it until right before the 27th entrant arrived, so somewhere in the vicinity of 10-12 minutes. Liv Morgan eliminated her right before Charlotte Flair started to slowly walk down the ramp.

We’ll see what’s next for Ms. Bliss after tonight. Glad they got those contract issues worked out...
