Former Trump White House chief strategist and War Room host Steve Bannon warned Trump supporters to be ready “to go to a federal prison” if Kamala Harris wins the election.
Just hours after his release from a 4-month prison sentence that was handed down by former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Attorney General Merrick Garland, Bannon explained Tuesday on The War Room that the Democrats will have no problem leveraging the weight of the government to persecute their political enemies.
“I will tell you that if the Pelosi apparatus wins, you better be prepared to go to a federal prison,” Bannon said Tuesday hours after his release from a 4-month prison sentence.
“Because these people have no qualms about weaponizing the Justice Department, weaponizing the legal system against American citizens who have different political views.”
“And like I said before, if you’re not prepared to go to a federal prison, than you gotta ask yourself: Are you prepared to defend your country and drive the MAGA philosophy, the MAGA movement forward?” he asked.
Bannon was imprisoned in Danbury, Connecticut, by the Biden DOJ on July 1 after he was held in contempt of Congress for defying a subpoena from the Democrat-led January 6 Select Committee.
Notably, numerous Democrats were spared jail after they themselves were held in contempt of Congress over the years, highlighting the left’s political persecution and selective application of the law.
